How was the book developed?

We love Country was developed by the Department for Education, Children and Young People in collaboration between Aboriginal Education Services and Early Learning.

The book has been authored by Leanne Pelikan, Kylie Dickson and Nicole Smith whose mobs are from New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. The book is illustrated by Jamin and Luke Emmerton (of Aboriginal and Māori descent).
